In this week’s episode we talk to Nancy Jane Smith about her new book, “The Happier Approach” where we talk about quieting negative self-talk, or our “mongor” as she calls it. Nancy gives us tools on how to pull out of a situation where our negative self-talk is crowding out all other noise. We talk about how we dislike the phrases “love yourself” and “be grateful” and what we can say instead. We talk about busyness as a distraction from facing our feelings...you’ll hear me saying a lot of “ooh” and “ahh” in this one because the things Nancy say are just so true and inspiring and empowering and I hope you feel the same.
